Artist Statement

Whether in oil, pastel or acrylic, in the studio or plein-air, my goal is to capture the mood and essence of my subject.  The freedom to embrace a variety of subjects inspires me to paint most everyday.  My passion is in the art of portraiture, colorful landscapes, figurative and still life paintings.
